Yesterday i had my first real test with the Canon EF-L 70-200 F 2.8 L IS USM lense at the yearly Lawnmowerrace in Achterveld (where i also filmed and photo’d last year). It was a nice day, the weather was good and the track was well prepared by the Achtervelder volunteers.
550 is the amount of pictures that i made. 255 survived my quality standard or was interesting enough to publish online. It is harder to make pictures with this big new lense but i am satisfied with the end result, allthough with enough practice i think that i can do better next year.
These are also the first pictures that i published in my new photo-database (where you can buy (for € 1,-) the pictures as a download or printed without that stupid martijnroskam.com watermark). Professional photo equipment is very expensive and in this way i hope to see some of the money that i invested in it back in my wallet
